Dear Friends,
The Women's Auxiliary to Children's Medical Center has an outstanding history of helping Children's in its mission to make life better for children. Since 1962, the Auxiliary has raised more than $15 million and contributed countless volunteer hours - all with a passion and love for Children's. I am honored to serve and work alongside our members as we support Children's Medical Center, a vital resource in our community that does not receive any local tax dollars.
The Auxiliary continues to be guided by our five-year strategic plan, culminating with the celebration of Children's 100th anniversary in 2013. As dedicated ambassadors of the hospital, our members are encouraged to "tell the story" of Children's in their communities and to spread the word on the wonderful work that Children's is doing every day in the lives of children - our very own children as well as others who also need our help.
As we begin this year, we celebrate the formation of a new Auxiliary chapter in Plano serving the Legacy campus. We would love for you to share your talents with the Auxiliary in some capacity. There are many opportunities to become involved. Whether your interest is fund raising, special events, staff appreciation or service opportunities within the hospital - we need you! Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions about the Auxiliary. Thank you for your commitment to Children's Medical Center.
With my sincere appreciation,

Gini Florer
