Scott Storm was diagnosed with leukemia at age 3, and was treated at Children’s Medical Center until he lost his battle with cancer at age 11. Scott’s family had an appreciation for the work and dedication of the nursing staff. In memory of Scott, his family established a foundation to support the cause of nursing education in pediatric oncology.
Over the past 19 years, the Scott Storm Foundation has provided financial support for nurses to attend national conferences, perform research resulting in publication, and ongoing support of the Scott Storm Conference.
